PewDiePie featured her in a gaming online video shortly after she hit 50,000 subs within 1 1/2 months of uploading the first video. Taylor quit making videos on her Youtube channel after 2 months and close to 100,000 Subscribers. This was mainly due to technical issues related to the new equipment she was using, as well as the overwhelming success of her channel. Taylor began making videos following a one-month break. The most popular was the well-known ASMR Ten Triggers To Help You Sleep. (35,000,000 views as of august 2022). ASMR 10 Triggers To Help You Sleep was the second video that she uploaded in July of 2017 and was watched 38 million times as of August 2022. In August of 2017, Shane Dawson featured her in an interview. She also reached 1,000,000 subscribers within a few days. Wired UK estimates that her YouTube advertising earnings were $1000 each week from February to March 2019.

Helfer was raised in the rural area of Donalda, Alberta, Canada, to Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer. The two are from German, English, Swedish and Norwegian origin. She was educated at the William E. Hay Composite High School of Stettler in Alberta. Her three sisters, Tammy, Tara and Trena resided and worked on their family's farm. At the age of 17, the agent of her modeling agency spotted her waiting in line in a theatre.
